What the swell looked like at creation
SE Papa Buoy

This swell was a 310 degree swell in the tail of the Aleutians. It crossed the Aleutian landmass and broke up. Fetch was reasonable, and pressure was 970 mBar to 1024 mBar. Swell looks to hit at 6 ft 17, transition to 6 ft 14 for a day, and then dwindle out. It hit with a lot of local wind and was not rideable, but it was really large. The SF buoy failed for a few hours in the morning of the 27th. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes it blows. For this swell, it blew.
